After the first attempt, my girl requested this time a Star Rice Bento. Since I do not have any star shape rice mould, I just had to make use with my egg star shape mouth. Isn’t it cute? Am really glad now that my bento decoration skill has improve a little, hehe…I think I can do this even for our picnic when we going for our next vacation which I got from the caribbean vacation deals.

However since she only open her lunch box and eat an hour later, I guess her rice must be cold by then. Hope my little girl does not mind about eating cold rice (hey, sushi also cold right?)

I have been lazy taking pictures and upload the bento I create for my girl daily. Recently she said she wanna bring rice to school I bought some rice sprinkle and made some shaped rice balls for her. She loves it! She even complained that her friends were drooling over her bento every morning when she open her bento box at her school’s tiny ping pong table everyday.

Tips: I get my maid to cook the rice by adding more water so it is softer and easier to shape in mould. We just cook more rice so we can do fried rice for lunch whenever she has rice bento.
