Free laptops

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

How many pc or laptops do most of you have at home?

I realize there is a need to get extra pc now as my girl will be using more for her revision and educational games. It is indeed good to have another, so that her play time will not interrupt with my work hours. If there is any promotion going on with free laptops for grabs, or if you come across any cyberpowerpc coupons, do let me know ya..

Repair job

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

Although hubby dislike to do repair job at home, we are really blessed that we have someone to lend a helping hand on this. For instant, when one of my bucket could not be opened, QQ’s ex-nanny hubby quickly helped as he is very experience in managing the stainless steel drums. I always count on QQ ex-nanny’s hubby to help me adjust or repair simple things at home when hubby feels lazy. Very lucky to have such a good neighbour next door right?

Early plan for Christmas

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Time flies and now it is almost year end already. I think some must have already made plan to shop and bought some gifts for christmas in july sale. It is always good to plan upfront especially on gifts so we could get the right pressie that people really want. No point getting something that ends up being hide in the wardrobe right?

Susan’s Bistro, Mahkota Cheras

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

Of all places I have eaten, Susan serves the best chicken chop. It is grilled just to the tender perfection, and yet still very soft and juicy inside. No other restaurant can grill the chicken so well. Although this restaurant is situated so near to our place, hubby dislike this place because parking along the shops is extremely difficult. I doubt if there is anything here can attract hubby to this place again, not even if the waitress here wears sexy costumes.

Gold Investment

Friday, August 13th, 2010

Tell me, how to make more money in the shortest time with the minimum amount of capital? Anyone has any idea?

A friend told me that her gold investment is almost double of her initial investment in just one year time. How I wish I discover it earlier and dump all my savings into it. I doubt that buying gold bar can be a risky investment, since the world supply of these precious metal is getting lesser now. If only I realise this opportunity earlier, I would have already make tonnes of money by now. However I gather it is still not too late to make an investment with gold. Must really find out more tomorrow.

Price of gold

Thursday, August 12th, 2010

We have been missing out so much good investment opportunity out there. First we realized we miss out grabbing good property in prime area. And now, it is the gold investment. We could have made up a lot loss if we have realize the value of gold very much earlier.

Instead of cash is now sitting in the bank, suffering badly from depreciation in value and buying power. I think it is always now or never when it comes to make a good decision. Tomorrow hubby will be visiting the banks and start to find out more as we plan to buy gold for long term keepsake purpose.

Tub Tim Krob

ma tee

We all love this dessert! A little more job to do, but worth it.

Ingredients:

  • Water chest nuts (cut into small cubes)
  • Red Coloring – use only very little
  • Potato starch flour (to lightly coat the chestnuts)
  • Coconut milk – I used 2 coconut
  • shaved ice (if have) – I omit this. Instead I cool the dessert inside my fridge
  • Jack Fruit (shredded) -6 fruits
  • Sugar and salt to taste
  • Pandan leaves

Method:

  1. Color the diced water chestnut cubes evenly
  2. Lightly coat them with starch flour
  3. Boil them until they float
  4. Drain and soak  in a bowl of ice water immediately. Put aside
  5. Bring coconut milk to boil with pandan leaves
  6. Add in sugar to melt
  7. Let it cool and add crushed ice
  8. Put in shredded jack fruit

Although hubby and the kids love this dessert, I dare not make this frequently as it is very fattening and not very healthy to take so much coconut milk.  Don’t wanna waste my effort of taking the new diet pill, hehe…

Heard of Leptin, the latest slimming product in town?

I even notice my tummy is getting smaller but that also means more wrinkle skin and I see the need of cellulite cure on my thighs too. Hope that Leptin will do wonders to my weight lose given a month time!

Acne back :(

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

I just notice that I have so much acne on my back. It wasn’t like this before as far as I could remember, nor that I take much oil food recently. I think I definitely need to use some adult acne treatment to clear them otherwise it will be really ugly to wear bare back now :(

Virtual shopping

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

I still prefer to shop by trying out for my clothing first although it is really convenient to shop online. I would say, there are pros and cons of online shopping for clothes. There is a few occasion where I bought some shirts and I find that I don’t quite like the material, or it does not look good on me (although it look pretty well on the model). On the other hand, it is so easy for me to browse the pattern of the clothing easily in online shops like dereon without having to waste time to go check in the stores.

But shopping for cake is fine, since we do not get sample testing even we buy from shops too!
