Penang Cendol at Joo Hooi Cafe, Penang

Finally, we found the well hidden famous Penang Cendol. It is not exactly at Penang Road, but just across the road on a small lane before turning into Komtar called Lebuh Keng Kwee.
This stall is actually placed outside a small coffee shop by the name of Joo Hooi (ya, you can trace your GPS by the name of Joo Hooi Cafe too).
You either stand along that super narrow busy lane to eat your cendol or order it into the shop by paying extra 50sen to the shop owner (we did that to our 3rd bowl, its really that GOOD!)

The Asam Laksa inside this shop was quite good too. Besides, we also ordered one Fried Kuew Teow, Fried Rice and some fried Lobak from different stalls inside this shop. Edible but not very nice, I would say.
When you dine at places like this, well, don’t expect to see any custom floral arrangements on the table. Even eating can be quite hectic too, especially if you have young kids like me.
Still, this cendol is worth trying and we will definitely go back just for the cendol
